Staffordshire University Open Mic Night

So then as I promised yesterday here are the photographs that I shot of the open mic night that was put on by Staffs Uni Creative Writing Society, I would also like to say a big thank you to Andrew Hall, Eno Enefiok, and Richard Redwin for inviting me to the event and letting me cover it. There was a good mix of acts ranging from, comedy, poetry, short stories, and music. The event runs every month and is at The Verve just next to the LRV in Shelton; if you would like any more details please drop me a message.

I have also recently entered the LUMIX prize ran by Panasonic; if you could possible spare a minute and vote for my image I would deeply appreciate it, thanks.

Louis Quail

Hey everyone, I attended my usual Wednesday morning Photo-Voices lecture this morning and the guest lecturer was international photojournalist Louis Quail. He has worked all around the world covering stories in Haiti, China, and Afghanistan. I would highly recommend that you take a look at hi website if you haven’t already seen any of his work. On that note I will leave you with the portrait that I shot of him a few hours ago, I also shot the first Open Mic Night that Staffordshire University Creative Writing Society put on for this academic year so expect to see some of them uploaded in a little bit.
